3rd to 6th Grades
Time: 8:15 – 9:15 am 3rd – 6th Grade - Children will come together in room 304 for community building and teaching time. The curriculum will be determined by the number and age of the children attending.
Time: 9:30 and 11:00 am Ages: 3rd – 6th Grade Location: Hopewell Jr. Gym Format: The Ride is designed to present Bible lessons in a new and exciting setting by using music, drama, fun and games. Each Sunday will begin with music and assimilation activities. Children are introduced into the morning session with games, discussion tents and other activities to encourage making friends. After assimilation, The Ride’s large group sessions introduce the monthly virtue, memory verse and a daily Bible story. These teachings will be done in many different fun, off-the-wall ways to provide a unique presentation of the Bible stories. After the large group session is over, children will break-up into small groups for more intimate learning and discussions. Bibles for 3rd Graders - In the beginning of October each year, our 3rd graders receive a Hands-On Bible (NLT) and spend four months learning about their Bible after assimilation time each week. They then move into Group's units on Prayer and Salvation to finish out the year.
