Children's Choirs and Chimes

Angelfish Choir Ages: 3½ years – Kindergarten Practice: Sunday Evenings from 4:00 -5:00 pm Practice and Pick-up Location: Room 305 Format: Children will learn simple Christian songs, including Christmas songs. The emphasis will be on fun and learning about God and Jesus. Children will perform periodically throughout the year in traditional and contemporary services. They will also perform in the Children’s Christmas Musical in December. Practices include a light snack and devotion. C-Horse Choir Ages: 1st – 3^rd Grades Practice: Sunday Evenings from 4:00 -5:00 pm Practice and Pick-up Location: Community Room Format: Children will learn traditional and contemporary Christian songs, including songs with fun motions. Children will also gain new knowledge of the Bible and Jesus through weekly devotions. Performances will be scheduled periodically throughout the year in traditional and contemporary services. The C-Horse Choir will also perform in the Children’s Christmas Musical in December. Practices include a light snack and devotion. Directors: Jackie Lahrmer (398-9638) and Heather Remley (755-3278)

Starfish Sing-n-Ring Choir Ages: 4^th – 6^th Grades Practice: Sunday Evenings from 4:00 -5:00 pm Drop-Off Location: Community Room Practice Location: Music Room (Room 203) Format: A fun combination of singing and hand chimes! No prior experience necessary. Gentle guidance will be given to teach children how to read music and play chimes. Children will perform periodically throughout the year in traditional and contemporary services. They will also perform in the Children’s Christmas Musical in December. Practices include a light snack and devotion. Directors: Amy Valentine (336-0537) and Heather Carter (777- 2714)

Choral Energy Ages: 7^th – 12^th Grades Practice: Sunday Mornings 10:30 - 11:15 am Practice Location: Room 205 – Includes a devotion Format: An energetic mix of contemporary and traditional songs plus time for devotion and discussion. Youth will perform periodically throughout the year in traditional and contemporary services, as well as off-site performances in the community.
