First and Third Saturdays Working Mom’s Group A new group has formed of working Mom’s. They meet to share in fellowship and devotion time. They meet on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays at 8:00 a.m. at Panera Bread Union Centre. For more information contact Chastity Whitaker.
Women’s Weight Loss Group A new group is forming for women who are looking for support and encouragement with weight loss. This group will not follow a diet or have “weigh ins”.

Sunday, September 5 Food Pantry Drive Faith’s monthly all-church food drive will be Sunday, September 5. As we receive communion and are fed by God, we commit to feed others. Your donations are very important to our food pantry. Sunday, September 5 BSL Red Shirt Sunday The Board of Servant Leaders (BSL) will hold their fourth “Red Shirt Sunday” on Sunday, September 5. BSL members will wear distinctive Red Shirts so we are easy to locate.
We look forward to meeting and talking with you between services.

Sunday, September 12 Church-Wide Study Begins For the fall all-church study, we will be studying the book “Questions God Asks Us” by Trevor Hudson. It’s an insightful book that will generate great small group discussion. September 12 will be the first sermon and small groups will begin discussion and meeting the same week.
Books and guides will be available in the lobby starting August Books are $10.00 each and there is no charge for the guide. If you are not in a small group, the fall study is a great opportunity to meet others and grow deeper in your faith. We will have group sign-ups at the table as well.
Sunday, September 12 Youth Kick-Off To get the year off to a great start, Youth Ministries will have our Youth Kick-Off on Sunday evening, September 12.
From 4 - 6 pm, there will be a Confirmation information meeting in the Youth Room for youth and parents of 9th graders (and any student grades 10-12 who has not participated in Confirmation before). For more information, contact Cynthia at schwallies@fuse.net or 863-9247.
Immediately following the Confirmation meeting, Youth Group will meet from 6 - 8 pm in the CLC.
While their children are enjoying youth group, parents are invited to attend an informational meeting at 7 pm in the Youth Room with Caleb Henry, the Director of Student Ministries.
Sunday, September 19 New Member Class Faith will be holding a “New Member Class” on Sunday, September 19 in the Community Room. This class will help you learn about Methodists, Faith Community, and how you can get involved in church ministries.

Sunday, September 19 Children's Choirs Begin Children’s Music Ministry starting up on Sunday, September 19 from 4 -5 pm. All children (3 year - 6th grade) are welcome to join our music program. We have three different age level choirs, two musical opportunities (Christmas program & Spring musical), passionate choir directors who love Jesus Christ and your children, and a lot of fun planned for this year.
Please plan to come for our first practice on September 19 and parents if you could spare the first half hour, we would like to give you all the dates for the year and get registration info from all of you.
