Discovering Jesus’ Miraculous Power

Save the date!   This year’s theme is Power Lab – Discovering Jesus’ Miraculous Power.  Get ready for an exciting adventure following Jesus as he heals, helps, and gives power to people who need him.  Power Lab is fizzing with fun for kids, teenagers, and adults.  Everyone involved in this VBS will explore God’s Word … and never be the same again!  Each day’s Bible Point will show us how Jesus gives us the power to – Be Thankful, Help Others, Be Brave, Live Forever, and Tell Others about God.

We will offer two programs:
Evening program - Sunday, June 15^th – Thursday, June 19^th
Morning program - Monday, June 16^th – Friday, June 20^th

How can you help?

·       We need many clear water bottles, or clear 2-liter soda bottles for “Power Lab” crafts.   Donations can be dropped off in the collection bin located in the small kitchen. Thank you!

·       The planning team is still in need of volunteers.  If interested, please contact Stacey Bruewer at sbruewer@cinci.rr.com.

The planning team is already hard at work, but still looking for some team members.  The following opportunities are still available:

Older Craft Facilitator AM – This person will work with the Older Crafts Coordinator to set up the crafts and coordinate the helpers for each day for children entering 2^nd – 6^th grades.

Younger Games Coordinator or Co-Coordinators AM – Decide on and set up games for ages 4 through entering 1^st grade.  Ideas for games each day are provided, but may need a little tweaking.  This person needs to be able to direct the kids in what they will be doing each day.

2’s Class Leader – This person will lead a class that is similar to the entire VBS Program, but geared for the 2-year-old/young 3’s of our volunteers. Curriculum and programming ideas are available from the publisher.

3’s Class Leader – This person will lead a class that is similar to the entire VBS Program, but geared for the 3-year-old/young 4’s of our volunteers.  Curriculum and programming ideas are available from the publisher.

We will also need many Crew Leaders, Assistant Crew Leaders, and Station Volunteers.  Please e-mail Stacey Bruewer @ sbruewer@cinci.rr.com and let her know where you would like to volunteer.
