Faith Community will offer special Prayer Opportunities on the first Sunday of the month between services in the Prayer Room. Join us at 10:40 am for both guided prayer and silent prayer with a prayer guide of suggested prayer stems provided.

You can be part of making a positive difference for the elections by praying for them! Often people are unsure how to pray. To help with that, resources are available both on line and at church.
Online resources:
·Join the Presidential Prayer Team at www.presidentialprayerteam.org and click on “Pray the Vote” where you will find information about praying for the elections and information about the candidates.
·Visit www.presidentialprayerteam.org and join “40 Days to Pray the Vote”. For 40 days you will receive an email prayer to aid you in praying for the elections.
·Join the National Day of Prayer Task Force in urging Americans to gather in small groups every Thursday from noon to 12:30 PM to pray for our nation’s leaders. Visit www.NationalDayofPrayer.org for more information and PRAY THURSDAY!
Church Resources:
·Prayer Card “30 Ways To Pray For People in Authority” is available to pray for those already in office, but can be slightly adjusted to include those running for election. You will find this prayer card on the Lobby Resource wall with the Prayer Resources and in the Prayer Room.
·Praying for National Officials Prayer Cards in the Prayer Room have pictures and information about national elected officials. Use these prayer cards in the Prayer Room to pray for our national leadership.
·Pray to God section of the blue Prayer and Praise bulletin insert will focus on praying for our nation and the elections during October leading to elections.
